J'ai raté la coupe du mois de juin (j'ai oublié de les couper), j'ai fait un henné début août et surtout : j'ai adopté de nouveaux produits de soin. I forgot about to cut my hair in June, I made a henna in August and most of all : I've changed my hair products. Je trouve que ça améliore un peu l'état de mes cheveux, ça et les hennés surtout, mais dans l'ensemble c'est pas folichon. Oui mes cheveux poussent, mais de manière extrêmement inégale, et je crains (encore) que tout ça ne soit qu'un leurre et que je doive bien vite couper tout ce qui a poussé car ça s'abîme trop. A défaut de couper, quand je croise trop de fourches ou des pointes trop abîmées : vite je fais un henné ! Comme vous le voyez sur la photo, si je tire sur les mèches les plus longues, j'ai bel et bien gagné 3cm au moins, voire 5, depuis le mois de mai. Mais ce n'est le cas que d'une petite minorité, et quand ils sont "bouclés" je ne vois pas de différence d'avec le tout début (à part qu'ils sont plus moches) je vous laisse comparer :

I've found that my hair are less horrible than some months ago but it's still in a bad state (and mood) for sure. Yes it has grown, yeah, yeah but... I still fear it'll just not last for everything is so damaged that I will have to cut the ends. Waiting for the terrible cut, I prefer making henna as soon as I notice split ends ! As you can seen on the photo below, If I straighten a lock, we can see that the hair has grown since May (one inch and a half, maybe 2 inches for some locks). But it's only true for a few locks, and as soon as the hair is curly everywhere, I can't see difference between before and now (unless that it's uglier). You can see for yourself here :

Oui hein, ouh lala, c'est pas flagrant. D'autant qu'ils sont bien bouclés sur la première, et bien détendu sur la seconde alors... forcément ils ont l'air un peu plus long, mais si on tire sur les premiers... bref... mais non je ne déprime pas, mais non.

See ? Woooo haaaaa... it's not obvious. It's very curly on the first shot, not at all on the second so... it has to look longer on the second but... well... you see... nooo I'm not getting depress, not at all...

Pas grand chose de neuf

You haven't heard from me for a while, for I had nothing new to say !

I did a henna in March, still did my "sort of cwc method of whashing hair" and had my ends cut in March too.

My new hair length is now 20.75 inches for the longer locks, the average length is more about 18.75 inches. Altough my hair is longer, I'm still unhappy for I have many split ends (1cm of split ends sometimes) and my whole hair is dry and brittle, and I mean more than usual. The length I got is mainly damaged so I will probably have to cut it anyway. The ends are so thin than I can hardly imagine my hair growing longer...

I think I will change the hair care products I was using (testing the Lavera products for example for curly and dry hair), I'll let you know if there are some changes. I'll also try to do a henna at the end of the month or... maybe next month (I get sooo lazy when it comes to "do a henna" *sigh*)

J'ai pas donné beaucoup de nouvelles ces derniers temps car rien de nouveau à l'horizon !

J'ai fait un henné en Mars, continué les shampoings "mixtes" (shampoing sur le crâne/après-shampoing sur les longueurs), et coupé les pointes en Mars aussi.

Ma longueur actuelle est de 53cm pour les mèches les plus longues, 47-48 sinon en moyenne. J'ai donc gagné entre 2,5 et 7,5cm en 5 mois. Et pourtant je ne suis pas contente... parce que mes cheveux sont vraiment très moches en ce moment. Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais ils sont très abîmés et très secs. J'ai des fourches parfois sur 1cm de cheveux, j'ai les pointes extrêmement fines, je les imagine mal pousser plus loin et les cm que j'ai gagné me semblent donc bien éphémères...

Je pense changer de produits de soin (je vais commander des produits "Lavera" pour cheveux bouclés/secs), je vous dis si ça change quelque chose. Je vais tenter aussi un héné fin mai ou en juin, si j'arrive à me motiver ! Nouvelle recette peut-être également !
